In July, the Ministry of Justice’s Center for Coordination of State-Guaranteed Free Legal Aid launched a new online reporting system and trained 60 lawyers of free legal aid centers on how to use it. The system allows lawyers to report on the consultations provided and generates a real-time board displaying detailed information on the consultations. It has a comprehensive feedback mechanism that allows the clients to rate the lawyers through WhatsApp and get online consultations. The new reporting system is available in Russian, Kyrgyz, and English at http://otchet.ukuk-jardam.gov.kg.

The online reporting system was developed with the support of the USAID Collaborative Governance Program (CGP). The CGP provides support to the Ministry of Justice’s Center for Coordination of State-Guaranteed Legal Aid in its effort to increase access to justice and strengthen the rule of law.
